Kate’s Kitchen with Kids: Baked Apples with Cinnamon and Vanilla Ice Cream

Are you craving something sweet but not too unhealthy? These baked apples are super fast and easy.
Ingredients:
6 apples
cinnamon
brown sugar
butter
vanilla ice cream
Preparation:
Preheat over to 400.
Cut each apple in half, then remove the core from each half creating a “ditch” for your ingredients to sit in. Place apples on a cookie sheet to prepare. In each apple ditch add a tiny bit of butter, a sprinkle of brown sugar and a dash of cinnamon. Bake on 400 degrees for about 20 minutes – or until apples are a bit soft.
Once baked, add each apple half to a bowl. Add a scoop of vanilla ice cream…and enjoy!
