Serves: 4-5
Ingredients
-
2 cup cooked(boiled) chickpeas (Soaked in water overnight than boiled or steamed) – or 1 can of chickpeas from your grocery store
-
1 tablespoon Tahini
-
2 tablespoon of lemon juice
-
2 garlic cloves
-
2 tablespoon olive oil
-
salt to taste
Instructions
Boil or steam chickpeas. Drain chickpeas. (or if you are using canned peas, simply drain and use). The secret for the smoothest hummus is to remove the skins from chickpeas. I know it is really really boring ..but do that if you are aiming to make Creamiest Hummus ever.
Add chickpeas and all other ingredients to a food processor. Blend on high for about 1 minute, or until all ingredients are well mixed. That’s it! Serve with your favorite cracker or pita bread.
